Weedon Island Update
Wow!! Today the Orcas had a blast and were very helpful. All were brave troopers who took a turn seining and catching some beautiful sea life! We also learned why catch and release is important. We caught dwarf seahorses, lizard fish, mud crabs, a conch and luckily enough a gigantic butterfly ray!! Unfortunately, he escaped our net, but hung around long enough for us to see his remarkable beauty. We also took a nature walk where we saw mangrove and fiddler crabs, birds of all sorts, mosquito fish and a big blue crab. What a fabulous day!!
These are not actual images because I was in the action and didn't take pics, but in case you are wondering what they looked like.
