Math Journals

Second graders are bringing home their finished math journals today. They have worked very very hard on these and these are what we use in small group and for morning work. I have checked them thoroughly, but it doesn't mean that I didn't
miss one or that we corrected it together on a whiteboard. I give them a choice if they would like to bring them home. If you find any mistakes in them please be aware that we have practiced and gone over these items countless times in small group and in their centers and by pointing out their mistakes you are deflating their excitement and accomplishments. Just a friendly reminder to please encourage your student and focus on what they did correct.
